About Me

Shawn Mills joined National Land Realty in April 2025 after four successful years with United Country, where he was the top-producing agent in his office in 2023 and ranked #57 nationwide for the company in 2022. His strong track record in selling hunting land and commercial farms makes him a trusted resource for clients looking to sell land in Virginia or explore VA land for sale with confidence.

As a Deer Steward Level 1 graduate, Shawn is especially skilled at identifying trophy hunting properties. His deep understanding of wildlife patterns—gained through years of game camera research, boots-on-the-ground scouting, and local experience—sets him apart as a land agent in Virginia who knows what serious hunters are looking for.

In addition to real estate, Shawn has 16 years of experience in graphic design and printing. He’s also the founder of Dixie Outdoors 3D Archery, an organization that hosts charitable events centered around the outdoors and community. He’s a proud member of two local hunting clubs and is passionate about giving back.

When he’s not working, you’ll find Shawn enjoying family time, hunting, camping, fishing, woodworking, or cruising the countryside in his Jeep. He and his wife, Crystal—a NICU nurse at Duke Hospital—have five kids: Kendall, Dylan, Evan, and twins Libby and Sophie. They also share their home with their two beloved dogs, Molly and Bailey.
