About Me
Gil Wingington joined the National Land Realty team as a Land and MH/RV Park Professional in August 2024. Although he is new to the National Land Realty team, he has 20 years of real estate experience and 18 years of experience in the MH/RV park industry.
Gil graduated from Central Community College in 2001, where he received his associate’s degree, while focusing on both IT Security and Computer Programming. He then worked at CCC as part of the MIS Department and later for Pillen Family Farms as their Network and Server Administrator.
Gil began his real estate career in 2003 as an investor rehabbing and flipping foreclosed HUD homes in his spare time. Passionate about real estate, he earned his salesperson license in 2007 to begin selling real estate for Colfax County Auctions & Realty.
In 2009, Gil opened his first brokerage, C&G Realty, Inc, while also serving two terms as a Colfax County NE Commissioner and building his investment portfolio which consisted of several income producing properties including Sunset Acres Mobile Home Park in Schuyler NE.
While a commissioner, Gil focused on balancing the county budget and ensuring Colfax County’s ag lands were protected from local flooding. Among many boards, he also served as a member of the Schuyler Housing Committee and the Schuyler Economic Development Group for Schuyler Nebraska.
After selling most of his properties in 2019, Gil opened Mid-Plains Land & Realty, Inc. to focus on land sales throughout Nebraska. In the wake of COVID, Gil turned his efforts to developing a website specifically for the mobile home park industry called MHParks.com which has since been rebranded as ParkSitesIO, LLC.
Gil and his wife, Colene, were married in 1996 in Central City, CO, and had their son Colton in 1998, who now lives in Nashville, TN.
Aside from spending time with his wife of 28 years and their son, Gil loves flying, training hunting dogs, and developing new business ideas.
