About Me
Born and raised in Southern Illinois, Mike Carruthers joined the National Land Realty team of Land Professionals in July 2024. Before coming to National Land Realty, Mike worked as a heavy equipment operator for 14 years and also became a real estate agent for Midwest Farm and Land Co. Mike also works with Marion Connects, a non-profit company with an emphasis on community-building. He attended the John A. Logan College and went on to join an apprenticeship program as a union heavy equipment operator. Mike’s expertise includes hunting properties, habitat management, and trail development in addition to his numerous connections within the land industry! In his free time, Mike can be found deep in flood fields and backwaters chasing down waterfowl with his wife, Alisha, or out in the woods tracking his next monster buck. He and his wife, Alisha, are based out of Marion, IL, where they live with their daughter, Dixee, and 2 dogs, Shadow and Storm.
