First let me commend Clay for his diligence, professionalism and communication with us. He always kept us informed during the entire process. It had a problem which as always is unanticipated which caused a delay in closing. I credit Clay's communication both with us and the buyer for getting this deal across the finish line.
On a personal note this closing allowed us to retire the mortgage on our personal residence. This has given this soon to be 70 year old a tremendous amount of peace knowing that my wife will not have a mortgage to address if God calls me home.

As I walked into the realtor's office with my notebook full of what some called a 'silly girl's dream', I expected to be met with 'I'm sorry I cannot help you' or 'You don't need that much land'. Clay Baxter and his team listened to the endless chatter of my silly girl dreams including all my planning and research that caused me many sleepless nights. Throughout the process of looking for a forever place that I could call home, we seemed to be faced with every obstacle that possibly could happen. Multiple surveys, multiple offers, multiple negotiations, lots of phone calls, lots of emails. This team searched and made numerous contacts, set up meetings and worked tirelessly on negotiations until we were able to form plans to move forward with a purchase. The whole process felt like a dream. From helping me get my current home ready to sell, which by the way sold in a week! Although this purchase took about 6-8 months, I am thankful for every struggle of the way. I now have a little house on 57 acres that I rush home to every day after work!
