TERRAIN: Level to slightly rolling topography. Elevations in the lower creek bottom along Calebee Creek and drains range from 230/ft to 240/ft. these Soil types consist mainly of Fluvaquents silt loam and Kinston-Mooreville clay. These soil types are good for bottomland hardwood production and some pine production and are currently mostly in bottomland hardwoods and swamp and duck ponds. Elevations in the upland area range from 250/ft to 300/ft. These soil types consist mainly of Sumter-Hannon and Conecuh fine sandy soils. These soil types are well suited for pine timber production, upland hardwoods, and some crop and pasture production. These areas are currently mostly in well-managed pine plantation timber stands with a mix of mature natural pine-upland hardwoods and open fields.
