Edward has been an Alabama Licensed Real Estate Broker since 2014 and a salesperson since 1998. He graduated from Auburn University in 1982 with a B.S. in Forest Management. Edward served in the US Navy aboard the USS SURIBACHI AE21 Atlantic Fleet. He has managed, bought, sold, and invested in timberland and development properties for 30 years, primarily in Alabama, but also in Southwest Montana. Edward is most interested and fascinated with investment-grade timberland and also the development of recreational retreat properties. He has extensive experience with the regeneration, marketing, and management of timber, resulting in profitable, healthy, and sustainable southern forests. In addition, Edward has developed several 1,000+ acre recreational properties including cabins, lodges, wildlife enhancement, and in one case, a 52-acre permitted lake. Edward most enjoys pairing buyers and sellers together on quality properties, always seeking a 'win-win' transaction.
Edward lives in Jackson, Alabama where he enjoys any and every opportunity to be in the woods of South Alabama. He has two children: Lee is currently practicing law with Bradley Arant Boult Cummings in Birmingham, AL, and Lauren is currently completing her residency in Health Care Administration with Ochsner Health Systems in New Orleans, LA.
