- Scenery: This area of the Payette River is a tranquil, especially private setting part of the river in which there are no rapids. From Boise airport take I – 84 west to the Eagle Road exit to the north. After approximately four miles turn left onto Chinden Boulevard. Take Chinden Boulevard for approximately six miles to !D – 16 and take the northbound lane to Emmett. At Emmett take ID 52 (Washington Avenue) north through Emmett and across the Payette River.
