LOCATION: This 36-acre parcel of land is located approximately 6.3 miles southeast of the small rural community of Keota, Oklahoma. It is just minutes from Keota Landing which affords direct access to the Robert S. Kerr Lake. The larger city of Sallisaw, Oklahoma, is 25 miles away, and sits on I-40. Tulsa is 116 miles away, Oklahoma City is 169 miles, and Dallas, TX is a 234-mile drive by car. LAND: The land is level to slightly rolling in terrain. Kerr Lock and Dam at river mile 336.2 (km 541.1) on the Arkansas River, just a few miles below its confluence with the Canadian River. The lock and dam are part of the McClellan-Kerr Arkansas River Navigation System, which provides for barge navigation on the Arkansas River and some of its tributaries. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers maintains the locks and navigation system. This body of water covers 43,800 acres of surface area and has an average depth of 12 feet. FISHING & BOATING OPPORTUNITIES: You will find all kinds of boating, kayaking, and fishing opportunities around the lake area. There are numerous different species of fish found within this body of water.
