What is RealConnex?
You may have never heard of RealConnex and be dreading the thought of having to use and maintain another social media site. But for those in the real estate industry, Realconnex has a unique offering in the social game.
Realconnex describes itself as “All the tools a professional needs to network, build industry profile, credibility & influence, buy, sell & lease, prospect & connect to opportunities.” It is a new platform led by RCX Capital, a San Diego-based real estate investment and merchant banking firm. With a free RealConnex membership, “you can network, send messages, search profiles, post listing and much more.” And as of November of 2017, the social platform has 700,000 members.
I would describe Realconnex as a LinkedIn tailored to those in real estate. Just like on LinkedIn, you can set up your profile and list your previous work experience. The difference here is that as well as post and search for individuals and businesses, you can raise capital, invest or lend, showcase services, buy, sell and lease all through the site.
The best part about it for land agents is that it is another spot for your listings to be shown, and they are syndicated to other MLS as well – reaching even more eyes who are specifically looking for listings you have to offer.
If you are a member of the National Land Realty team, your member profile has already been created! Additionally, your listings are automatically uploaded and fed for you. All you, as an agent, have to do is finalize your specific details – like adding your headshot and some of your past major deals.
All in all, I think Realconnex is worth taking some time to check out. At least to update your profile and set your preferences. From there, how and when you want to incorporate it into your social network time is up to you!
