Farmers Brace for Tough Times Over Coming Months
During a recent interview on RFD-TV, Arkansas Land Broker and former President of the REALTORS® Land Institute Jeramy Stephens shared his thoughts on today’s land market, touching on current high input costs and other challenges farmers are facing in 2025. He also spoke to the opportunities that may arise as some farmers are likely to offload some or all of their ag landholdings amid economic uncertainty.
Stephens’ bottom line: there’s no one-size-fits-all move. Ag landowners concerned about their position in 2025 would be wise to get in touch with a Land Professional and make a plan sooner rather than later.
