About Me
Matthew Brownlee joined the National Land Realty team of Land Professionals in January 2024, bringing over two years of real estate experience. Before joining National Land Realty, he earned his associate's degree from Piedmont Technical College and worked with the SC FFA Association and the SC Governor’s School for Agriculture. He is an active member of the SC Farmer and Agribusiness Association and a dedicated volunteer for local FFA and 4-H programs. Additionally, Matthew serves as a board member of the Laurens County Farm Bureau and chairs the Young Farmer and Rancher group.
In 2022, he was elected to the Rabon Creek Watershed Conservation District in Laurens County, followed by his election to Laurens County Council in 2024, where he now serves as Vice Chairman.
Raised on his family’s farm, Matthew has spent his life caring for the land, gaining firsthand experience in cultivating crops, maintaining pastures for livestock, and navigating challenges such as weather, pests, and resource management. His deep-rooted agricultural background provides him with valuable insight into land stewardship, allowing him to serve as a trusted guide and resource for landowners looking to manage and maximize their property’s potential.
In his free time, Matthew enjoys hunting deer, ducks, and turkeys, as well as fishing and hiking in the Upstate mountains and along the Appalachian Trail in North Carolina, Tennessee, and Virginia. He currently resides on his family’s fifth-generation farm in Hickory Tavern, where he continues to work the land and collaborate with fellow farmers in the community.
