About Me
Martin Silbernagel joined National Land Realty in March 2025, bringing with him decades of hands-on agricultural experience and a deep understanding of rural land ownership.
Martin has spent the past 29 years working as a CRNA and over 43 years in the healthcare field, but his roots have always been in agriculture. Growing up as a farmer’s son, he purchased his first 40-acre tract of land at just 14 years old, sparking a lifelong commitment to land ownership, management, and conservation. Since then, Martin has continued buying—and rarely selling—land across Nebraska, building strong, lasting relationships with the farmers who lease and work those properties.
His educational background includes two bachelor’s degrees—one in Math/Natural Science and another in Nursing—as well as a Master’s in Health Science with a specialty in Nurse Anesthesia. This blend of analytical thinking and compassionate care carries over into his approach as a land agent in Nebraska, where his attention to detail and commitment to service stand out.
Martin specializes in agricultural land, and he’s passionate about helping others understand the potential of rural properties—whether you're an investor looking to sell land or a buyer exploring Nebraska land for sale. His knowledge of farm management, crop production, and long-term land stewardship gives clients valuable insight when buying or selling property.
Now living in Bennington, NE, a part of the Omaha metro, Martin and his wife, Patty, enjoy life close to family and their 1-year-old wirehaired pointing griffon, Maggie. Between them, they have five children and eight grandchildren, with family in Omaha, Bismarck, and Houston. When he’s not helping clients or managing land, Martin enjoys pheasant and deer hunting, golfing, and spending time outdoors with Maggie.
