About Me

From 2011 to 2016, Colt served as a Program Manager for the Humane Society in Baton Rouge, LA, overseeing municipal shelter operations and developing community outreach programs. During this time, he managed the care and adoption of more than 10,000 animals while building strong organizational and leadership skills.

In 2016, Colt transitioned into the hospitality industry as the Director of Operations for EC Ventures/Noviq. Over seven years, he managed and developed vacation rentals and hostels in major cities like Los Angeles, San Diego, Miami, and Nashville. His responsibilities included staffing, vendor management, investor relations, and project development. Notably, he played a key role in purchasing and revitalizing historic buildings in San Diego's Gaslamp Quarter.

Since 2023, Colt has worked as a private consultant for property and landowners, helping clients maximize the potential of their assets. From transforming a lakeside estate in Central Florida into a thriving short-term rental and wedding venue to converting production offices in Los Angeles into specialized event spaces, Colt's innovative approach has consistently delivered results.

Colt holds a degree in Philosophy from the University of Central Florida and continues to enjoy learning about new technologies. Originally from Florida, Colt grew up exploring the woods of Havana and the Apalachicola National Forest near Tallahassee. He has called San Diego home for the past seven years, where he recently welcomed his mother to live with him. In his spare time, Colt serves as a board member for Heart of the Sea Ministries, a faith-based nonprofit dedicated to supporting local and international missions. He also has a deep love for classic country music.
