We are from Florida and were looking to purchase land in Alabama, and we could not have asked for a better realtor! John Havard truly went above and beyond for us throughout the entire process.
We looked at 50+ acre properties and probably asked him to see more properties than we can remember, but he never once got frustrated or made us feel like we were asking too much. He was always willing to jump in the car or side by side and show us another property.
Anytime we had questions about floodplains, wetlands, or anything else concerning the properties, he took the time to do the research and dig into the details for us. He also sent us properties that he thought might be a good fit.
And even after closing, when we ran into some car trouble, he went above and beyond to help us out. That really says a lot about the kind of person he is—not just the kind of realtor he is.
We are so grateful we found him and would recommend him to anyone looking to buy or sell in Alabama. He is knowledgeable, patient, responsive, and genuinely a great guy. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience!

Had problems dealing with a different realty agency on purchasing this property (lack of communication, late or no response, failure to provide requested info, overall lack of interest in selling the property). The realtor from a different agency finally got tired of me calling so much after 3 months that he referred me to NLR. NLR's realtor was quick to respond and closed the deal very quickly.
