Vote for Conservation and Recreational Activities

October 3, 2016

Quite often those of us, far removed from the activities of Washington, DC,  fail to realize the impact our Senators and Representatives have on our outdoor recreational activities.

In the final months of 2016, Congress will be at work with legislation that will have a great impact on our access to federally owned land, allocation of funds generated by the Pittman-Robertson Wildlife Restoration Act, wetlands conservation, wildfire suppression, and the Bipartisan Sportsmen’s Act of 2015. This act being promoted on a strongly bipartisan basis will reauthorize several outdoors important conservation programs. Land buyers across the country are natural conservationists; programs that provide funds for habitat restoration, sound forest management, wildfire control, and keep our waters clean are always of keen interest to landowners. Check out the article below and make sure you get involved in your state and exercise your right to vote on these issues.
