New Administration Impacts on the Land Industry
“It’s always a sticky situation when you start talking politics and policies, but historically, every time there’s an administration change, everything freezes up for a few months before and after the election. But it’s not a bad thing. Everybody’s nervous, but we don’t see any major shifts coming along with this new administration,” stated CEO of National Land Realty Ronnie Richardson during his interview on RFD-TV earlier this week.
Richardson spoke about the new administration’s potential impacts on land values and farmland owners in America. Touching on possible tax implications for things like 1031 exchanges, Richardson also advised landowners to avoid making rash decisions during this transition period.
