The Importance of a Land Brokerage’s Brand

“Brand” is one of those words that’s meaning is often misunderstood. A Land Brokerage’s brand is much more than just a company’s name and logo. A brand is built by clients and customers, not by the company. A brand is a promise, a perception, an expectation, a persona and an element.

A land brokerage’s brand is one of the most important contributing pieces to the marketing puzzle. Who are we? What do we offer? Why do we do this? What do we promise? What do our customers think of us? What do they expect?

Take a second and think about all the different types of land: farm, ranch, commercial, residential, recreational, hunting, timber, equestrian, waterfront… The list is as long as your arm. And the list of land brokerage choices you can use to market/find your property is even longer.

When you’re ready to acquire or sell land, how do you choose which brokerage to work with? And once you decide on a brokerage, will their brand accurately represent your property? When coming up with ideas for National Land Realty’s brand elements, these were all things we had to take into consideration.

So, how exactly did we land on our logo? By coming up with a unique way to represent our company like no other land brokerage’s brand does.

After carefully looking at our company goals and our Land Professionals, we noticed how our team has a very diverse skill set. We have farmland specialists. We have timberland specialists. We have hunting land specialists. We have commercial land specialists. We have a number of individuals who are experienced in and passionate about one common thing: land.

Our logo focuses on “land,” because our team members make up a group of the most knowledgeable and respected Land Professionals in the industry. We don’t solely focus on farm land sales, we don’t just focus on hunting land sales, we focus on all LAND sales. And we aren’t a marketing extension, we are a team of real estate professionals who work together and operate under one brand to provide clients and customers with exceptional service.

Each element in the logo represents something different and significant. The blue-colored “National” represents the sky. The green-colored “Land” represents grass or fields. And the brown-colored “Realty” represents the ground or dirt. Even the arching “L” represents something. It illustrates the curvature of the earth or a hill on a property.

Our logo is what really sets us apart. It shows that there’s no limit to our brand. That it covers all aspects and we are truly on the mission to be the one stop shop for all things land. Our brand doesn’t limit us to just farmland or ranch land, it’s overarching, encompassing all types of national land.
