About Me
With more than 28 years as a self-employed forestry and habitat consultant and 11 years in real estate, Rob Haubry brings a wealth of knowledge to land transactions in Southern Indiana. A second-generation forester, Rob has spent the past 35 years living and working in the region, building expertise in forest management, wildlife habitat, timberland, recreational land, and agricultural properties.
Rob earned a double major in Forest Management and Wildlife Management from Purdue University, along with a minor in Mechanical Engineering Technology. His professional experience includes extensive work in timber management and habitat development, giving him a firsthand understanding of how forestry practices, wildlife resources, land stewardship, and property improvements can affect the potential of a property.
Today, Rob works with landowners and buyers throughout Southern and South Central Indiana. Whether you are looking to sell land in Indiana, buy land in Indiana, or find a knowledgeable land agent in South Indiana, Rob can provide practical guidance rooted in decades of experience. His background is particularly valuable for clients interested in Indiana timberland and timber management, hunting land, recreational property, farmland, and rural acreage. He is also a member of the Association of Consulting Foresters of America and the Indiana Forestry and Woodland Owners Association.
Rob lives with his wife, Vivian, on 80 acres outside a small South Central Indiana community. Their daughter, Hannah Jo, teaches kindergarten in Texas, and they enjoy spending time with their black Lab, Briggs. Outside of real estate and forestry, Rob enjoys managing wildlife habitat and hunting for whitetail deer on his farm, volunteering with his church, reading suspense novels, hiking, and vacationing with Vivian.
