About Me

Michael Peiffer joined National Land Realty in January 2025, bringing extensive experience in agricultural real estate and a lifelong passion for farming. As an IA real estate agent specializing in farm ground across Iowa, with a focus on South Central and Southeast Iowa, Michael is committed to helping clients buy and sell land around Keokuk County with confidence and expertise.

Before joining National Land Realty, Michael spent 6.5 years as a Land Specialist and Agent with DreamDirt Farm & Ranch. His agricultural expertise is backed by a Master of Agriculture degree from Iowa State University, completed in 2008. He dedicated 12 years to teaching high school agriculture and serving as an FFA advisor, earning the title of 2009 IAAE Outstanding Ag Ed Teacher in Iowa. His background provides invaluable insight into farm management, land valuation, and rural property transactions.

Michael is an active member of the Madison County Farm Bureau Board of Directors, St. Joseph Church, and the Madison County Pork Producers. When he's not working with clients, Michael enjoys farming, raising cattle, and showing cattle and pigs. He and his wife, Janelle, live on a small farm southeast of Winterset, Iowa, with their daughter, Abilene. They also operate a small seed and crop protection business.
