Matt Wilkins joined National Land Realty in May 2026 with a lifetime passion for wildlife, conservation, and land stewardship throughout Alabama. As a dedicated outdoorsman and experienced conservation leader, Matt specializes in recreational and hunting properties, helping buyers and sellers maximize the value and potential of their land. Whether you're looking to sell land in Alabama, buy land in Alabama, or invest in hunting and recreational property, Matt offers the expertise and local knowledge needed to guide you through the process with confidence.

Matt currently serves as the Director of Grassroots Support and Head of National Fundraising for the National Deer Association, where he oversees the organization's nationwide volunteer network and fundraising efforts. Before joining the National Deer Association, he spent 10 years as a Regional Director with the National Wild Turkey Federation, building relationships with landowners, conservationists, and outdoor enthusiasts across the region. His professional experience has provided him with extensive knowledge of wildlife habitat, land management practices, and recreational property development.

A graduate of the National Deer Association's Deer Steward II program, Matt has developed a deep understanding of habitat improvement, deer management, and conservation strategies that benefit both wildlife and landowners. His expertise allows him to help clients evaluate hunting properties, recreational tracts, timberland, and rural acreage from a unique perspective that combines conservation principles with real-world land ownership goals.

As a land agent in Alabama, Matt enjoys helping clients discover the possibilities that come with owning land. Whether it's creating a premier hunting property, developing a family recreational retreat, or investing in rural acreage, he understands how to identify the features that make a property special. His passion for land management and years of experience working with hunters and conservation-minded landowners make him a valuable resource for anyone looking to buy or sell land in Alabama.

Outside of real estate, Matt remains actively involved in conservation and community service through his local National Wild Turkey Federation chapter, the chamber of commerce, and various wildlife-related initiatives. He is an avid hunter with a particular passion for turkey hunting, and he enjoys spending time outdoors improving habitat, managing wildlife, and cooking for family and friends on the grill or smoker.

Matt and his wife, Adrienne, live in Headland, Alabama, where they have called home for the past 12 years. Together they are raising their daughter, Haddie Ra, and enjoy life with their chocolate Labrador, Marlow, and their cat, Lee-Roy.
