About Me
Kyle Bennett brings a unique combination of forestry expertise, architectural experience, and hands-on knowledge of recreational land to his work with National Land Realty. Based in Beauregard Parish, Kyle works throughout Southwest, West, and Central Louisiana, helping landowners and buyers navigate the opportunities associated with timberland, wildlife habitat, and recreational properties.
As a third-generation owner and manager of Bennett Timber Company, Kyle has managed logging crews and timber harvest operations across the “Wood Basket” of Western Louisiana and East Texas alongside his family since 2021. His experience gives him a deep understanding of the factors that influence the value and potential of Louisiana timberland. He also specializes in developing native wildlife habitat and designing recreational properties with both usability and long-term land stewardship in mind
Before returning to the family timber business, Kyle spent eight years working in architecture in Lake Charles, designing and managing commercial construction projects throughout Southwest Louisiana. He holds degrees in Architecture and Business from Louisiana State University and has earned his Louisiana Master Logger certification through the Louisiana Logging Council. He is also a QDMA Deer Steward Level II and a Certified Prescribed Burn Manager, providing additional training and experience in wildlife habitat management and the use of prescribed fire for timber and wildlife.
Kyle is a member of the Louisiana Forestry Association, Louisiana Logging Council, and LSU Alumni Association. His combination of forestry, construction, wildlife habitat, and land development experience makes him a valuable resource for clients interested in LA timberland, hunting land, recreational property, and other rural land investments. Whether buying or selling land in Louisiana, Kyle helps clients understand a property’s existing value, recognize its potential, and identify opportunities for responsible land management and development.
Outside of real estate and forestry, Kyle enjoys hunting deer, turkeys, waterfowl, and elk, along with archery, fly fishing, and training hunting retrievers. He and his wife, Amelie, have a son, Brooks, and two Labradors, Gus and Adi.
