About Me
John Lane Green joined National Land Realty in March 2026 and brings nearly a decade of real estate experience to clients across West and Middle Tennessee. With over 8 years of experience in residential, land, auction, and government real estate, John has successfully closed land transactions since his first year in the business. His diverse background includes working with buyers and sellers, conducting auctions, completing subdivisions, renovating properties, and guiding clients through due diligence and closing processes. As a licensed principal auctioneer in Tennessee, he also offers unique marketing and sales strategies for landowners looking to maximize value.
John’s expertise is further strengthened by his work with federal agencies, including the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) and the USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS), where he specialized in land acquisitions, easements, and conservation programs such as Wetland Reserve Easements. His experience navigating land policies, easements, and regulations provides clients with valuable insight when evaluating or selling property. Additionally, his time with U.S. Customs & Border Protection as an Agriculture Specialist gives him a deep understanding of protecting and managing agricultural resources.
A proud veteran, John served over 21 years in the Tennessee Army National Guard and U.S. Army Reserve, including a deployment to Iraq during Operation Iraqi Freedom. His leadership experience and commitment to service carry over into his real estate career, where he prioritizes integrity, communication, and results for every client.
John holds a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture from Tennessee Technological University and has a lifelong connection to the land, having grown up on a fourth-generation farm in Middle Tennessee. His background includes raising cattle, hay, burley tobacco, and Tennessee walking horses, giving him firsthand knowledge of Tennessee farmland, hobby farms, and recreational tracts.
Today, John works extensively throughout West Tennessee and parts of Middle Tennessee, helping clients find the right property for their goals, whether that’s a home site, hunting land, or investment opportunity. He is an active member of the American Legion, volunteers in his local church, coaches youth sports, and serves as a trail guide for his son’s Trail Life troop.
In his free time, John enjoys hiking, horseback riding, hunting, camping, woodworking, and spending time outdoors with his family. He and his wife, Tandi, have been married nearly 19 years and are raising their four children, Katelee, Karis, Kipden, and Kamlyn, in Bartlett, Tennessee.
