About Me
Jeremy McCoy is an experienced land real estate agent in IL who helps landowners and buyers navigate agricultural and commercial real estate throughout Central Illinois. Born and raised in Decatur, Jeremy has spent most of his adult life working in the region and understands the local land market inside and out.
Before joining National Land Realty, Jeremy worked as a Landman in the oil and gas industry, negotiating mineral purchasing agreements and leasing contracts with landowners. This background gave him valuable skills in negotiating, reviewing land rights, and building long-term relationships. Jeremy is an Eagle Scout and actively serves his community as Secretary and Director of Communication for The Ripple Foundation, a nonprofit that hosts an annual fundraising motor show, supports a tool fund at the local community college, and donates a van to a family in need each year.
Specializing in agricultural land and commercial real estate, Jeremy enjoys helping clients understand land value, potential uses, and market opportunities. Outside of work, he loves being outdoors, traveling, fishing, and golfing. Jeremy lives in Decatur, Illinois, with his partner Cassie Yoder, her son Jack, five dogs (Big Boy, Dennis, Cardi, Ruby, and Ivy), and two cats (Remy and Rose). His deep roots in Central Illinois give him strong local connections and a clear understanding of the region’s land trends.
