About Me

A lifelong farmer and trusted advisor, Jered Mathis joined National Land Realty in July 2025 and continues to operate his row crop and cattle farm in Houston County while helping clients navigate the land market across Southeast Alabama.

With over 13 years of farming experience, Jered offers firsthand knowledge that sets him apart from the average land agent in Alabama. He’s the recipient of multiple agricultural honors, including Geneva County’s Outstanding Young Farmer (2014) and Outstanding Cotton Producer (2020). His deep roots in the area and boots-on-the-ground experience make him especially equipped to assist buyers and sellers with row crop properties, ranchland, and rural acreage in Houston and Geneva Counties.

Jered holds a B.A. in Accounting from Troy University, giving him an added edge when it comes to the financial aspects of land transactions. His clients appreciate his practical, honest advice and his ability to evaluate land not just as a commodity, but as a working asset with long-term value.

Based in Wicksburg, Alabama, Jered enjoys spending time outdoors hunting, fishing, and with his family. He and his wife, Victoria, are raising their children, Heidi and Payten, with the same land-centered values that define his work.
