James Proctor is a seasoned land and commercial real estate expert who joined National Land Realty in August 2024. With 14 years of experience, James has a proven track record of success in land sales and development across the Southeast, specializing in hunting land, timberland, and commercial properties. His expertise spans across Alabama, the Florida Panhandle, Georgia, Tennessee, and Mississippi.

Before joining National Land Realty, James held key leadership positions such as Vice President of Development at both Harbert Realty Services, Inc., and RealtyLink Alabama, LLC. Recently, he honed his entrepreneurial spirit as the owner of a swimming pool franchise and further diversified his skillset as an Outside Sales Representative for Nichols Concrete Holdings.

James's educational background includes a bachelor’s degree in Business Marketing from the University of Alabama. Beyond his professional achievements, James is a dedicated community leader, having founded both the Birmingham and Tennessee Valley chapters of Delta Waterfowl. He is also an active member of the Phoenix Club of Birmingham and the Monday Morning Quarterback Club.

A true outdoorsman at heart, James spends his free time duck and turkey hunting, golfing, and passionately supporting Alabama sports. He resides in North Alabama with his wife Allison and their two children, Ford and Finley.
