About Me
With over 20 years of experience in real estate, Eric Nurmi is a farmland broker and advisor focused on helping landowners sell Illinois farms with clarity, confidence, and results by using experience in luxury real estate and commercial real estate marketing to farmland, which gives both a national and global reach for sellers.
Many owners want more control and discretion than auctions allow. Eric’s process is built to provide a compelling alternative: a structured, consultative sale strategy that gives the seller the advantage of putting their priorities and market leverage front and center.
A major part of Eric’s work is guiding multi-generational families, inherited-land situations, operators, and investors through high-stakes transitions with respect for stewardship and legacy. He also guides owners on practical topics that can materially impact outcomes, such as the basics of IRS Section 180.
Eric’s family are multi-generational farmland owners in Central Illinois, and have been farmers, developers, and investors in the area. Eric and his wife have 4 children, a heart for international ministry and travel, as well as a love of the outdoors.
