About Me

Edward Leatherbury joined National Land Realty in September 2026, bringing a lifelong connection to Southwest Alabama, hands-on wildlife management experience, and an HVAC background. A lifelong resident of the Mobile area, Edward has spent years hunting in Choctaw County, giving him firsthand knowledge of the land, wildlife, and natural resources that make rural Alabama properties unique.

Before beginning his real estate career, Edward spent three and a half years with Batchelors Residential Services as a Comfort Consultant. He grew up in the HVAC trade, working for the company throughout high school and college. While working for Batchelors, Edward earned his Alabama HVAC contractor's license, giving him practical knowledge of residential construction and the systems that can impact a property’s functionality and value.

Edward’s passion for land stewardship goes back more than a decade. He helps manage property in Choctaw County, where he continues to learn about forestry and habitat management as a way to improve both wildlife populations and property value. Edward is a proud graduate of the University of Alabama and holds a degree in Business administration. This background is especially valuable for buyers and sellers interested in Alabama timberland, hunting land, recreational property, coastal land, and wildlife-focused properties.

Based in Mobile, Edward serves landowners and buyers throughout Southwest Alabama and the surrounding region. Away from work, Edward enjoys hunting, fishing, Crimson Tide sports, and spending time with friends and family. He lives in Mobile with his Golden Retriever, Hank, and remains actively involved in his local community, volunteering for the Senior Bowl, AWF, and MCWCA.
