About Me
Brad Shurett joined National Land Realty in January 2025, with seven years of real estate experience under his belt. Based in the greater Chattanooga area, Brad has sold land in more than half of the counties in Tennessee and is also licensed in Georgia and Alabama. Whether you're looking to buy land in Tennessee or sell land in Tennessee, Brad's extensive regional knowledge and commitment to his clients make him a trusted TN real estate agent who will go the extra mile.
Before transitioning to real estate, Brad served as Vice President for Southern Newspapers Inc., a privately owned media company operating around 20 newspapers and magazines across Texas, Alabama, and Georgia. His career began in the early 2000s selling classified ads to realtors and car dealers before moving into a corporate leadership role in 2007. In 2017, at age 40, Brad decided to pursue his passion for real estate and has never looked back.
Brad also brings a strong work ethic and problem-solving skills developed during his four years of active duty in the U.S. Air Force. As an avionics mechanic on A-10 aircraft, his squadrons deployed multiple times in support of various military operations. The discipline and teamwork he learned in the military continue to shape his professional approach today. He remains connected to his service through lasting relationships and regular reunions.
Brad attended the University of Alabama, where he majored in journalism and now serves on the Board of Visitors for the College of Communication and Information Sciences. His ability to communicate effectively and navigate complex transactions gives his clients an edge when buying or selling TN land.
When he's not helping clients find the perfect property, Brad enjoys fishing, cooking, and spending time with his wife, Kimberly, who is the Director of Elementary Education for Marion County Schools. They live in South Pittsburg, TN, and escape to their happy place—a cozy retreat on a trout stream in Gilmer County, GA—whenever they can. They also share a love for New York City and visit each year.
