With nearly 30 years of experience, Blaine Bickelhaupt has advised farm, ranch, and landowners on transactions totaling more than 180,000 acres across the Northwest. His expertise spans dryland and irrigated farms, working cattle ranches, recreational properties, investment land, and the water rights and natural resources that influence long-term value in Idaho, Washington, and beyond.

Raised in a multigenerational farming family, Blaine understands that land is more than an asset. It is a livelihood, a legacy, and often a family’s largest investment. His approach combines firsthand agricultural knowledge with decades of transaction experience, giving clients practical guidance rooted in both the land and the business behind it.

Blaine evaluates agricultural properties the same way producers do, considering rainfall, crop rotation, yield history, soils, topography, irrigation infrastructure, water rights, and long-term productivity. Comparable sales matter, but they are only one part of understanding what a property is truly worth.

He holds the Accredited Land Consultant designation through the REALTORS® Land Institute, one of the most respected credentials in the land industry. Throughout his career, Blaine has advised clients on farm and ranch sales, 1031 exchanges, family succession planning, generational ownership transitions, and strategic sales that allow families to create liquidity while preserving their agricultural operations.

Over nearly three decades, Blaine has built relationships with buyers ranging from neighboring producers to private investors, family offices, investment groups, and institutional capital from across the country. Combined with National Land Realty’s national platform, his experience allows him to connect exceptional properties with qualified buyers on a local, regional, and national scale.

Many of Blaine’s relationships with farm and ranch families begin years before a property is ever offered for sale. He believes the best decisions are made through thoughtful planning, patience, and a deep understanding of both the land and the people who depend on it.

Blaine and his wife, Julie, have been married since 1974 and are the proud grandparents of eight grandchildren. Outside of work, he enjoys golfing, fishing, and keeping a close eye on the wheat crop, whether he needs to or not.
