About Me

Aaron Cornelius joined National Land Realty in April 2025 and proudly serves buyers and sellers throughout Northwest Alabama. Based in Lexington, Aaron helps clients looking to buy land in Lauderdale County for farming, home sites, or recreation.

Before becoming a land agent in Alabama, Aaron built a successful career in finance as a loan officer with Bank Independent, where he worked for seven years. He also spent five seasons as a saltwater king salmon guide at Fireweed Lodge, honing his skills in customer service and building strong relationships. His extensive lending background helps him understand the financial side of real estate transactions, providing clients with an advantage when it comes to structuring deals and navigating land purchases.

Aaron is a lifelong resident of Lauderdale County and an active member of his community. He serves as Vice Chair of the Lauderdale County Young Farmers and is a member of the Rogersville Kiwanis Club. He studied accounting at the University of North Alabama and is a graduate of both the Tennessee Commercial Banking School and the Alabama Banking School (Class of 2025).

When he’s not helping clients buy or sell land, Aaron enjoys hunting, fishing, and working on his cattle farm. He and his wife, Maggie, live in Lexington with their daughter, Audrey, and two Australian Shepherds, Peaches and Teddy.
