USDA Announces Disaster Relief for Rural Communities
The USDA has announced roughly $340M in relief efforts to support farmers, ranchers, and rural communities impacted by recent natural disasters such as the hurricanes that devastated many parts of the southeast in 2024. These funds are meant to help communities repair damaged infrastructure, re-establish access to safe drinking water and electricity, and support struggling farm producers.
These efforts are part of the USDA’s broader commitment to strengthening rural resilience and supporting America’s agricultural producers in times of crisis.
