Timber Wings Sporting Club on the White River
The Timber Wings Sporting Club is 107 acres of fantastic duck hunting on the White River in Woodruff County, just north of Augusta and a 1/2 mile west of the famous White Oak Duck Woods. The property is mostly timber with a 14 acre leveed field on the eastern side that is planted and left for the ducks. There is a water control structure in the field and on the south end of the timber for managed water control for duck hunting. The property will start flooding naturally when the White River is at 28' at Augusta and the current owners have used a portable relift to flood from the river if needed. There are several areas to hunt on the property including the blind in the field and several timber holes. One of the best locations is a timber hole on the SW corner of the property. There are several deer stands on the northern end of the property that offer exceptional deer hunting. This area is phenomenal for duck hunting and holds thousands of ducks during hunting season.
