All that part of Survey No. 5002 Virginia Military District, beginning at a black oak, hickory and small elm, northwest corner to John Clark's Survey No. 5106 and southeast comer to John Winlock's Survey No. 5227; running thence with Clark's line south 200 poles to three hickories; thence west 100 poles to an elm and maple; thence north 24° west 215 poles to three burr oaks in said Winlock's line; thence with his line east 188 poles to the beginning, containing 188 acres, more or less, except the following described premises in Prairie Township, Franklin County, Ohio, being all that portion of Survey No. 5002 which lies south of the National Road and being more particularly described as follows: 

Beginning at a spike in the center line of the National Road and the center line of Doherty Road (said point being witnessed by an iron pipe driven in the intersection of the south line of the National Road, 40 feet south of the center line of said National Road and the east line of Doherty Road, 20 feet east of the center line of the said Doherty Road) thence north 85° 39' east, 1941.4 feet with the center line of said National Road to a spike; thence south 2° 22' west 911 feet to a stone (passing an iron pipe in the south line of said road at 40.28 feet); thence north 86° 15' west 1653.2 feet to an iron pipe in the center of the Doherty Road to the angle of said Road passing an iron pipe 20 feet from the center); thence with the center of said Doherty Road, North 20° 50' west 700.4 feet to the place of beginning. The property here conveyed containing 155.76 acres, more or less. Parcel No.: 240-000064.
