According to Oxford Dictionaries, a specialist is defined as a person who concentrates primarily on a particular subject or activity; a person highly skilled in a specific and restricted field. The land industry is one such field, which is why we have dedicated Land Specialists.<\/p>\n

Throughout time, individuals have been designated roles based on their race, religion, class, age, and sex. But the role of a specialist is one that continues to be useful even today. So, the question is \u2013 if a person with specific knowledge and interest in an area, say a Land Professional, is available, why settle for a generic option?<\/p>\n

As real estate continues to be a very volatile sector of the business world, technology is making the availability of information both a luxury and a liability. For example, customers in the real estate market can easily view a potential vendor\u2019s success rate. And for real estate agents, social media can be a huge advantage for their business, if used properly.<\/p>\n

However, this also causes a dilemma. If several potential vendors pop up on a customer\u2019s Facebook page or Instagram feed, how should he or she decide whom to choose? The answer is actually quite simple: it\u2019s in the customer\u2019s hands.<\/p>\n

Although a tad drastic, the basic premise behind a question I often ask is sound \u2013 Would you go to a car salesman to sell your house? Probably not. So, why go to a residential agent to sell a tract of land? *Crickets chirping* The resounding answer I receive is, \u201cWell I probably wouldn\u2019t, you\u2019re right,\u201d with a laugh.<\/p>\n

Now, I\u2019m not trying to knock car salesmen or non-land specialists, but it\u2019s a little bit silly when you think about the situation customers often put themselves in. A good agent will work to get a listing and learn from it. A great agent won\u2019t take something they can\u2019t handle and refers a specialist.<\/p>\n

Unfortunately, many agents will take a listing they\u2019re not equipped to handle simply to increase their publicity and bank account. While they can be lucky doing this, it will most likely turn out to be a failure for the agent, their agency, and their client. You’re much better off consulting with an experienced Land Specialist.<\/p>\n

If your foot hurts, you would go to a podiatrist. If you have an itchy throat, you would see an ear, nose, and throat (ENT) specialist. If you need to sell your land, you should contact your local Land Specialist<\/a> at National Land Realty.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
