Quite often those of us, far removed from the activities of Washington, DC, \u00a0fail to realize the impact our Senators and Representatives have on our outdoor recreational activities.<\/span><\/h4>\n

In the final months of 2016, Congress will be at work with legislation that will have a great impact on our access to federally owned land, allocation of funds generated by the Pittman-Robertson Wildlife Restoration Act, wetlands conservation, wildfire suppression, and the Bipartisan Sportsmen’s Act of 2015. This act being promoted on a strongly bipartisan basis will reauthorize several outdoors important conservation programs. Land buyers across the country are natural conservationists; programs that provide funds for habitat restoration, sound forest management, wildfire control, and keep our waters clean are always of keen interest to landowners.
