hewn log cabin restoration. It is approximately 700 sq. ft. of floor space and was constructed of hand hewn logs salvaged from an old cabin on Drowning Creek, in Estill County, KY. Interior cabinetry and trim is custom made from local red cedar. Yellow pine hardwood floor in living room and kitchen. Contains kitchen and outside vented range hood. Tiled bath with shower.

The ADDITION was finished in 2000, exterior is cedar shingles and is approximately 1400 sq. ft. of floor space and contains a dining room, den, utility room with shower, master bedroom, bath with Jacuzzi tub, and a 36 x 18 foot room upstairs with storage behind sliding doors the entire length of the room on both sides. Upstairs room is framed for skylights (not installed). Downstairs floor is slate from Bangor, PA and upstairs is carpeted. The entire house has central air with central propane heat. Log cabin also has a separate outside vented 30,000 btu propane heater and also electric baseboard heat. There is a Broan whole house fan in the attic and a Broan whole house vacuum installed in the entire house. Lots of electrical and TV and phone outlets. Two separate water supplies: Drilled well with 220 volt submersible pump. 1000 gallon spring fed cistern with pump or gravity feed during power outages.
Two separate water heaters: Paloma on demand propane. 220 volt electric tank water heater. Wired in smoke detectors. Snow guards on roof to protect gutters from damage. Custom aluminum one piece gutters. New Septic system with separate washer drain field installed in 2000.
