Lisa Saunders joined National Land Realty in 2018. Lisa brings over 30 years of real estate industry experience to NLR, previously performing appraisals for the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service and the U.S. Forest Service, among others. Her areas of expertise include all types of land, especially those with conservation easements and wetlands, but appraising horse farms is a natural fit.
Land has always been a part of Lisa’s life. Growing up in West Virginia, she spent most of her time outdoors and traveling with her family across the mountains to coal country to visit her grandparents. Her appreciation for land continued into her adult life, which led her to begin appraising land.
Now living in “horse country,” Lisa and her family spend time riding and training American Saddlebred horses. She enjoys house remodeling projects, hiking, and various outdoor activities. Lisa is also involved in The Bluegrass Dyslexia Center as an advocate for those with dyslexia and enjoys spending time tutoring.
Lisa is an Accredited Rural Appraiser (ARA) through the American Society of Farm Managers and Rural Appraisers, as well as a Certified General Real Property Appraiser through the Kentucky Real Estate Appraiser Board.

Marcus is an avid outdoorsman and landowner in southeast Kansas who has a network of connections that stretch from eastern Colorado to western Missouri. His passion for land and the outdoors drove him to become a land professional and he’s always eager to work with both land owners and buyers.
He has experience with both surface and mineral rights and is also familiar with many government programs that are available to the landowner. Marcus also serves on the Executive Committee for a large southwest Missouri farming operation that operates in excess of 10,000 acres, which provides him with a wealth of experience in tillable and cattle properties.

Doug Bruggeman joined National Land Realty in 2018. Doug previously worked with Ecological Services and Markets, Inc. for 10 years and spent several years teaching at Lenoir-Rhyme University in North Carolina and at Michigan State University. Doug has a passion for all land and has significant experience working with energy, mining, and conservation organizations. He has a Ph.D. in natural resource management from Michigan State University and a Master of Science degree in aquatic ecotoxicology from Oklahoma State University. He has also developed a CE course about the influence of climate change for realtors.
Doug is involved in several organizations including the National Association of Realtors, Journeymen and the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) Species Crediting Committee. He currently lives on seven acres in Madison County in a passive solar home on the first ridge up from the French Broad River. His hobbies and passions include restoration ecology, horses, paddling, and music.

Russell joined the National Land team in the spring of 2016. Growing up on a farm in rural Wilkes County, he developed a strong understanding and appreciation for agricultural land and timber land. He is on track to graduate with a degree in Real Estate from the University of Georgia in the fall of 2016.
He currently resides in Washington, GA where he spends time working on his family’s cattle farm. Outside of work, he enjoys fishing and watching UGA football and Atlanta Braves baseball.

Matthew joined National Land Realty in 2016 and also works as a Consulting Forester with Southeastern Forest Management in Oliver Springs, TN. Matthew is a U.S. Air Force veteran and received his B.S. in Forestry from the University of Tennessee. He is a member of the Society of American Foresters and Tennessee Forestry Association. Matthew is also an SAF Certified Forester. As a Consulting Forester, his particular area of expertise is forest resource management, including timber sales and appraisals, forest inventory, and GIS mapping.
Matthew lives in Maryville, TN with his wife Morgan and their two children, Anna and Joseph. Outside of work and spending time with family, Matthew enjoys bass fishing on the rivers of East Tennessee, exploring trails in his land cruiser, bluegrass music, and Tennessee football and basketball.

Ron Charity is a Kansas and Missouri farm, ranch and recreational land professional with National Land Realty. After retiring from a successful 20 year career in dentistry, he relocated to eastern Kansas from Colorado. Jeff Colter has been in real estate for 18 years. Before starting his career at National Land Realty in 2015, he worked with Plunkett Commercial Properties from 1996-2001 and First American Real Estate Tax Services from 2002-2007. Jeff studied business management at Kennesaw State University (1991) and obtained his Georgia Real Estate License in 1997. While employed with Plunkett Commercial Properties, Jeff attained and sold over $5 million in property values. Bickham Crooks joined National Land Realty in 2018. Bickham has 30 years of forestry experience. He is a Registered Forester in Arkansas and Mississippi, holds the ACF designation as a member of the Association of Consulting Foresters, is a member of the Society of American Foresters and the Louisiana Forestry Association. Bickham received a bachelor’s degree in forestry at Louisiana State University in 1988 and has since taken numerous continuing education courses, seminars, short courses and workshops pertaining to timberland management, GIS, forest technology and computer science.
In his free time, Bickham is involved with the Boy Scouts of America, being an Eagle Scout himself. He and his wife Elke have five children and currently reside in Gonzales, LA with their two dogs.

Lee Crotts was raised in Mullins, SC. He attended the College of Charleston where he studied business administration. As a conservationist, a member of Ducks Unlimited, and avid outdoorsman, Lee chose a career in land brokerage without hesitation. His particular love of hunting, fishing, and boating has given him insight into properties that are perfect for that use. Lee also specializes in commercial properties. He has a great understanding of single and multi-family developments, tax credits, and student housing site selection. He is also familiar with rezoning and entitling properties.

Born and raised in the midlands of South Carolina in Calhoun County, Tom has always had a great appreciation for the outdoors. From his earliest memories of riding around his family's farm with his father and grandfather, he was taught to appreciate the outdoors, be a steward to the land and preserve the natural beauty of our wonderful state. He attended the University of South Carolina and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in biology from Charleston Southern University. Tom later attended the Charleston School of Law and spent twelve years working in the legal field in the beautiful city of Charleston. After spending all that time in an office, he jumped at the opportunity to get back in the field and joined the team at National Land Realty. His legal background brings a unique skill set and excellent negotiation skills to the land brokerage business, enabling him to better serve his clients.
When not busy selling or finding the right property for his clients, you can find Tom hunting, working bird dogs, supporting high school football on Friday’s in the fall, watching Gamecock baseball in the spring and last but certainly not least, trying to keep up with his daughters, Ellie and Mary Collins.

Jeff Danker grew up on a small horse farm in Chandler, Oklahoma. His parents raised him in a Christian home, and Jeff's father Eldon taught him how to rope at an early age. Jeff played basketball, football, and baseball, but most days you could find him in the roping arena practicing his calf-roping skills. Jeff competed in the "MRCA" miniature rodeo until he was 12 years old, and went on to "team roping" for the next 14 years. In 2003 Jeff says "God blessed me and gave me the opportunity to start a hunting show called "BuckVentures Outdoors". As the host of "BuckVentures" which airs on the Sportsman Channel, Jeff showcases his true passion of chasing HUGE fair-chase whitetails! Jeff is married to his high school sweetheart, Traci, and they have 2 girls, Jaylee and Gracelyn. Jeff's family is the true love of his life!

Steve grew up in Paragould, AR, learning to Duck Hunt in the Dave Donaldson Black River WMA, and to deer hunt with a bow, on Crowleys Ridge, on land that is now part of the Bill Brewer Scatter Creek WMA. He graduated from Paragould High School, and then received his Bachelors in Business Administration from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville. He has been actively involved in real estate since 1996, as a lender, investor, farm owner, duck club owner, and landlord. He has bought and sold 2 green timber duck clubs, and been involved in countless leases. Donald grew up in Lake City, SC. He later graduated from The Citadel. After graduation Donald began working in the land business for National Land Partners, a division of Timberline Land Company. By 2004 he was leading in the company sales volume and units; soon after he was promoted as Event Sales Manager. In 2007 Donald became the sales manager of Southeast Land Partners and was responsible for 1.8 million in sales for 2007 alone. His proven sales record and vast experience in the land business makes him invaluable to our team.
